2. My magazine will be targeted at a wide range audience as it will concentrate on mainstream music. This could range from pop to rock. A magazine which uses the same idea is the rolling stone magazine. I will show examples of the Rolling Stone magazine and show how I could then base my magazine using similar ideas to improve my own ideas. This front cover features a close up main image with direct eye contact, the colour scheme contrasts with pink and the colour of her jacket. The black background fits in with the fact that the artist is in the rock genre and it all fits together. I like the fact that the image has attitude and action.

3. This front cover features a body shot of a different artist who is in a different genre of music, pop. The image has lots of action in it and is very sexual but it maintains the audience. The masthead is not shown often in both magazines.
