4. SUMMARY
Tua Poya was 3 yrs. old when he was chosen to be on the
pristine matrimonial of his uncle Peter an aunt Linda’s
marriage. At first, they were very happy as a couple but one
day Tua Poya sensed that there is something wrong to the
couple and one day Linda decided to transfer in Santa Ana
while Peter stayed in Bajada. Then they just know that
Peter had already a relationship in a visayan girl and at first
the chinese community was very mad of what they do but
after they have a two siblings the community forgot what
they did. One day Peter bumped in a truck that cause of his
death and Linda was being pregnant by driver. Then
because of ashamed the driver went to Iligan but he came
back in Santa Ana and Fetch Linda they decided to went.

5. BACK GROUND
Macario D. Tiu is currently a resident
professor of the Ateneo De Davao University.
Davao City. As a fictionist, his “ Ang Bata na
Dili Matulog” won first prize and “ Nanking
Store” won the third prize in the Palanca
Award. He is a native of Davao City and
presently residing at Catalunan Grande.

7. CHARACTERS
Raya- a beautiful woman who is not afraid
of spirits.
Sag-in- a young handsome spirit that fell in
love to a mortal named Raya.

8. SUMMARY
The story was all about the mortal and the
spirit. The character was Raya the bold,
daring and beautiful woman who is afraid
of spirit. Sag-in is a young man handsome
spirit who has been following Raya.

9. During these days a phantoms and unseen
spirit that this girl lived. Searching the
place for spirits into dark and dirty cave,
shadow, forest that Raya felt or heard
them but never seen them.

10. One day she heard someone call her name
she ask him who he was and the young
handsome man confess that his name was
Sag-in who followed her around and falling
in love with her.

11. The tree bore shaped like a heart with a
long trunk and leaves ,shape like a shelter
and Raya thought that its was Sag-in’s
heart and she heard a voice that
answered..

12. “Yes , Raya it is my heart. I have reappeared
to show you that I will never forsake you
and our child. Take care of this plant, and
it will take care of you in return. It’s trunk
and leaves will give you shelter and
clothing. The heart and fruits will be your
food .And when you sleep at night, I will
stand and watch by your window. I will
stay by your side forever”.

13. DARANGAN
ISANG EPIKONG MARANAO TUNGKOL SA
PAMILYA, PAGMAMAHAL AT SAKRIPISYO.

14.  Sa isang kaharian ay naninirahan ang tribong sinasakupan ni Reyna
Aginaya kasama ng kanyang dalawang anak na si Prinsipe Madali na
kanyang panganay at si Prinsipe Bantugan na kanya naming bunsong
anak. Siya na namamahala rito simula ng mamatay ang kanyang asawa
dahil sa paglupig ng mga kalabang tribo.
 Sa kanilang kaharian ay nirerespito sila sapagkat sila ay may
mabuting kalooban maliban na lamang kay Prinsipe Madali na may
katigasan ng ulo, palaging galit at may pagkamapagmataas. Si Prinsipe
Bantugan naman ay isang masunuring anak. Siya ay mapursigeng
malaman ang mga bagay tungkol sa kaharian at pati rin sa kanyang
pumanaw na ama na siya naming ikinagalit ng kanayang kapatid na si
Madali.

 Si Prinsipe Bantugan din ay may angking kagalngan sa pag aaral talaga
naming kahanga hanga. Bukod ditto ay tinitingala rin siya bilang isang
makisig, matapang at mapakumbabang tao.
Ang kanilang ina na si Reyna Aginaya ay may tinatagong sakit dahil
ayaw nyang malaman ito ng kanyang mga anak dahil ayaw nya na mag alala sila sa
kanilang ina at maging malungkot. Nang inatake ang kanilang ina sa kanyang ini indang
sakit, siya ay namatay. Si Prinsipe Madali ay nagdesisyon na sya ang mamahala sa
kaharian, at dahil galit sya sa kanayang kapatid, ipinagbawal nya na kausapin ng mga tao
ang kanayang kapatid na si Prinsipe Bantugan, at dahil don nga desisyon si Prinsipe
Bantugan na lisanin ang palasyo dahil, para sa kanya ito ang dapata gawin nya para sa
ikabubuti nga lahat.
