8. Oil Spills If the oil gets on the animals that live in the Great Barrier Reef then they will get poisoned and die! Ships are not meant to go near coral reefs anymore.

9. Logging When people cut down trees that are close to a river the soil will go into the river and end up in the ocean! People are not allowed to cut down trees near rivers.

10. Coral Bleaching When the water gets too hot or too deep the algae that live in the coral go away and the coral loses its colour and dies! Humans are trying to stop global warming.
