      Give Projects a
  Real Shot at Completion
Know where you stand at the outset!

More specific expertise and actions will be required at every
step. This is a framework only based on trying out our product
visioning experience for a halal wealth creation project we are
working on called The Millionaire Mohsin.

By following the steps below Insha'Allah we will begin to know
very quickly where we stand and what is missing in our quest to
complete the project.

Once we know what we need and what we have, to fill the gaps
we can Insha'Allah start looking for the resources we need.

Step 1.                           RESOURCES TO ACHIEVE
                                  THIS STEP:
Knowing that we have
already identified a pressing     to be added Insha'Allah

on our desire to observe
ASWT's natural laws through
observing his commands and
prohibitions, (really the first
step)

Open a google docs page
listing all the stakeholder
groups (initiators, end-users,
investors, developers /
constructors) in this project
and a separate sheet for
each stakeholder group.

The next thing we need to do is to get feedback from
representatives of each stakeholder group as to what they think
about our idea, why it would serve them and what their
measures of success (kpis) would be for each idea. Since I
already did some interviews and probably you have as well, we
can add our findings to these google docs.

Step 5. Once we get               RESOURCES TO ACHIEVE
stakeholder feedback              THIS STEP:
sufficient to create the
nucleaus of visions, we need      to be added Insha'Allah
to work on 3 different visions:

a) Product/Result Vision
(marketing message and
deliverables)
-key performance indices
-key achievement indices
-create a balanced scorecard

b) Operational Vision (a picture of the strategies/systems as if
they are completely ready and producing the product/result)
-we list each system/component and what it does, how it does it
and why; and how it relates to other systems
-we ought to engage experts to help define the systems
because they have greater insight

c) Building of Operation Visions (how are we going to make the
operational vision into reality; this includes identifying the
resources needed and the strategy to get the resources and
engage the resources). I call them visions because this will be
an iterative process whereby we engage resources to engage
resources to engage resources until such a time as the
resources are all there and are working towards the aim.
-we identify the resources required to build it so this way we
can cost out and seek out the resources needed
-we assign the resourcing of each system or assign the
resourcing of the resourcing (until we find someone who can
actually resource)
-criteria for builders (cost, expertise, time)

-engage experts to help us figure out how much time and $ will
it cost to resource, engage people, build components, test
components, progressively integrate them and launch them.
