2. Get Ready!
• As you get ready for the ride of your life,
Hear the Call of Jesus…
• Jesus calls us to go with Him.
– We need to go to Him… Mt. 11:28-30; Jn. 6:68
– We should follow Him…
Mt. 4:19-20; Lk. 9:23; 1 Peter 2:21

3. Get set!
• We’re going to have to leave some things
behind.
– Material things 1 Tim. 6:7
– Love of the world 1 Jn. 2:15
• Lay up treasures in heaven Mt. 6:20
– Priorities… Jesus first Mk. 12:30,
Others next Phil. 2:3, Yourself last Mk.

4. GO!
• Jesus invited them to GO with Him… v.35
• Leave the crowd and GO with Jesus…v.36
– Others went with Him, they joined the journey
• So we today should join our life’s journey with Jesus!
• The disciples today! Hear, Believe, Repent,
Confess, Baptized & Live for Jesus
– In the world, but not of the world… Jn.17:13-17

5. Troubles Come
Along Your Journey
• Have faith in Jesus when catastrophes
hit…
– Winds blow against – Mt. 12:30
– Waves upset us – 2 Thes. 1:4-7
– Waters threaten – Acts 4:29;1 Pet. 3:14
• Don’t forget Jesus is there with you!
– To see you through them all! Heb. 13:5;
1 Cor. 16:13

6. Don’t Be of NO Faith
• But be growing in Faith…
Rom. 10:17; 1 Pet. 2:2; 2 Pet.
3:18
• With no faith there is fear! Mark 4:40
– But perfect loves casts out fear… 1 Jn. 4:18
– Loving Jesus helps us cast out fear. Jn. 14:15
– Can overcome, even with mustard seed faith!

7. Enjoy the Journey!
• Even in the storms of life Jesus can say
“Peace, be still!” v.39
• Jesus can do far above what we could
imagine – but don’t doubt it!
Eph. 3:20; James 1:2-8

8. The End…
Of this Life is just the beginning
• Begins with the judgment day…
Acts 17:30-31; 1 Cor. 15:23-24
• “God is not the God of the dead but of the
living” Rom. 14:7-9; Mt. 22:32; Lk. 20:38
• Our eternal home Jn. 14:1-3; 1 Pet. 1:3-5
