2. Then the dominion of the heavens will be like this:

3. Ten virgin bridesmaids who took their own lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

15. But the wise ones replied, saying,

16. “ We think not! There will never be enough for us and for you. Instead, go to the sellers and buy for yourselves.”

17. But while they were going away to buy it,

18. the bridegroom came,

19. and the ones who were ready went inside with him into the wedding banquet.

20. And the door was shut.

21. And later, the remaining bridesmaids also come, saying,

22. “ Lord, Lord! Open up for us!”

23. But he replied and said,

24. “ Truly I tell you, I do not know you.”

25. Keep on staying alert, therefore, because you know neither the day nor the hour.
