It's amazing how much hype and misinformation there is
 out there about affiliate marketing. To be truly successful
     with affiliate marketing its important that you have
realistic expectations and to realize you wont have success
with this type of marketing overnight. I'll try to answer the
    question, is affiliate marketing all hype in this article.
Here are 4 simple steps to answer the question you may
   have about affiliate marketing being full of hype.
1. Market to people who have problems to solve
What is their biggest nagging,embracing, and painful
 problem? People are more prone to buy products or
services to avoid pain and solve a problem than to gain
                        pleasure.
2. Keyword Research
What type of keywords do they type into the search
    engines when looking for information to solve their
  problems. Locate high searched for keywords that have
     low competition. This way you can eliminate any
competition you may have, you don't want to try to get on
   the first page of google for a keyword that millions of
 other site owners are trying to rank for. Google has a free
keyword tool you can use for that. Wordtracker is another
 option, but you have to pay for that service on a monthly
                            basis.
3. Setup A Sales Funnel
I see a lot of people on the internet who will design a site
   or sales page centered around one particular topic and
 then try to drive traffic to that. Its a good tactic, but don't
expect to get any repeat sales from that customer. Most of
    the time they'll buy your product then there gone. A
  better tactic is to utilize a lead capture page where your
      prospects give you permission to email them on a
repeated basis. All you have to do is offer them something
   of value like a free report in exchange for their contact
  information. This is a good way to build trust and form a
relationship with them, and then you can promote various
           affiliate products to them, not just one.
4. Sales Copy
Sales copy is salesmanship in print. Writing good sales
   copy is what will make or break any of your marketing
    efforts. You implement good sales copy to persuade
  people to give away their contact information, nurture
  relationships in your email marketing, and you use it to
 encourage your prospects to give you their money. Don't
try to reinvent the wheel, success leaves clues, there are a
 lot of working models of success when it comes to sales
                     copy, seek them out.
