2. All members of Polish eTwinning group study in Gimnazjum number 3 in Pabianice. It's a big school where about one thousand pupils learn . We are taught different subjects by eighty-six teachers. Our headmaster is young and clever. We have four gyms. Important matches and school ceremonies take place in the biggest gym. There is also a library at our school. In our gimnazjum there are two computer classrooms and hundreds positions in the library. We have the internet too. For hungry people there is a canteen and a little shop with sweets and drinks. There are three parts of our school building.
3. In the first one we learn such subjects as M athematics, P hysics, C hemistry or G eography. There is teachers' room too. In the second part we have lessons connected with languages, Polish, English, German, and A rt. There are our headmasters ’ offices , educators ’ and secretary's office. In the last part of the building there are: a canteen, two gyms and a doctor's office for a nurse and a dentist. Underground there are : cloakrooms and a conference room. Most of the schoolchildren spend breaks in the passage which connects all parts of school. We eat the second breakfast, talk and laugh.
4. Tadeusz Kościuszko, 1746-1817, a general and a national hero. He was descended from a middle class. After finishing secondary school he studied in Knight’s School, next as a scholar he went to Paris. In 1774 as an artillery captain he came back to Poland. In 1775 Kościuszko went to America to take part in a fight for independence of the USA. The American army won a lot of great victories. In 1783 he became a general of brigade. Next year he came back to homeland and he was called up. Tadeusz Kościuszko commanded an army during the insurrection, 1794, which ended with Polish army defeat. Kościuszko died in Switzerland in 1817.
5. Since the term 2007/2008 at our school we have been obliged to wear school uniforms which are made of jeans. They have got detachable sleeves and the school emblem. We don’t like wearing them because they are ugly and uncomfortable. Everybody detaches the sleeves because they think that it looks better.
6. Our newspaper's title is ''Gimnazeta''. It is a monthly newspapaper . T he t eam consists of sixteen people. The e ditor is Alicja Ike - Duninowska. She has got lots of ideas connect ed with our newspaper. Students from our school like reading this newspaper because it is very interesting. We can read about many information , eg. teachers, student's achievements and amazing things about our school.
7. Our group consists of 1 2 people. We are ready to meet new friends. We want to have fun with learning English and communicate with other people from many countries. We are very sociable and sometimes crazy. Our group has existed for about six weeks but we are a very harmonious team. We should learn English through nice communication and exchanging ideas with each other.
