she was coping.
Zappos took care of the shipping and had a courier pick

of Transportation to cover the tolls on a particular
section of the road.

A traveler forgot her favorite pair of shoes. Zappos no
longer had the shoes on their website. The team located
the shoes at a nearby mall, went there, purchased the
shoes, and then hand-delivered them to the traveler’s
hotel.
All at no charge.

received a hand-written letter. The letter was posted on Reddit...

When Ritz Carlton guest, Chris Hurn, checked out of the
hotel on Amelia Island, he didn’t realize that he had left
his son’s favorite toy, “Joshie” the giraffe in their hotel
room.

His son was very upset, so to make him feel better Chris
told him that Joshie was staying a few extra days on
vacation. He called the hotel and explained the situation
and the story he had told his son.

Incredibly, the hotel staff created a series of photographs
that included all of the activities Joshie had been
experiencing during his “extended vacation.”

showing the good time he had been having.
