Based on the essays my student wrote, I created a presentation to evaluate their writing.

2. Working as a professional model for ten years, Cameron Russell delivered a speech
related to her career. From the beginning of speech, she emphasized how powerful the
image is, changing her own clothes to comfortable look. Based on the questions which
she frequently received, she told us the truth beyond the image. The first question is how
she became model. Winning genetic advantage, she was selected. Despite
many minoritymodels exist, the industry still prefer white tall girls. For the next question,
many girls asked if they could be a model. Russell could not answer the question for
sure but rather suggested to explore career like Ninja Cardiothoracic Surgeon Poet.
The third question was do they retouch all the photos. In addition to retouching, the
staff including designers, photographers strived to create a superficial
image. Many people were also interested in the advantage she received. She could not
deny it, yet dark side existed. While the police let her go, pulled-over people were
mostly black or Latino. Thus, she was very careful to bring out the subject. She loves her
career working with passionate people. However, the life of model concerning
others’ perspective makes her timid. Therefore do not look through the
biased image but understand the power of image in our perceived success
andfailures.

4. Russell gave the idea how public easily engaged
with the superficial images. Money, Cars, house
and many artificial objects could be measurement
of success. I think the image of a successful
person is a happy person. However, happiness
measures the actual success.
The one who can smile the last would be the most
successful person. No matter what one has, if one
could not content, one’s want and desire would
swamp the life asking more. Yet, happiness
flourishes one’s life with positive mindset.

5. My father, whom I respect the most, lives the
most successful life unless he is not always happy
either rich. Nevertheless, he works hard to
support my family’s happiness. He worked in
weekend but lives valuable life thinking of the
family. Due to his effort, I am studying abroad,
too. Therefore as my father, someday I will do
something for my family’s happiness like traveling.
Rarely having chance to share time, I would like
to make special happy memory. Thankful with my
family, I am already a successful person. I hope I
can keep this happiness.
