I think that I have currently caught up with what is out there to use to better relate to students.  In some cases, I have surpassed what students know and use!
This program familiarized me with many tools that I knew were available,  but was too apprehensive about attempting to learn. It has increased my confidence with many of these tools now, especially blogs and RSS feeds.
The support of the instructors was the major factor in my completing the course.
I think this material needed to accommodate those of us who are Baby Boomers who learned the Internet through trial and error and no real training to speak of.  I think this material was set up for people who basically grew up with computers, i.e. those 25 - 35 years of age.  There was simply too much assuming going on and too much taken for granted by those who designed the material.
What a great ride! I can't tell you how much I really appreciated this class and how much I learned. Thanks for everything!!
