There are 3 types of culture:
• Popular Culture (spreads easily. Is
popular!) (houses, clothes, food, music)
• Folk Culture (generally doesn’t spread
much, is often tied to land, religion,
seasons, agriculture)
• Counter Culture (a sub-culture or fringe
culture that develops in opposition to
mainstream culture. It peaks and declines
but often leaves an impact on society)
