This document provides an overview of an information literacy course, including introductions to the instructor, class, homework assignments, and key concepts like information, literacy, and information literacy. The class will meet eight times to cover topics such as defining an information need, locating and evaluating sources, organizing information, and communicating information to others. Students are assigned to choose a topic for their first homework and begin thinking of a question to research.
