That those birds you fed, would show our universe you understood the cosmic transaction of giving. That the veg you grew and shared would never see you wanting for food. That the tree you hugged would never see you missing affection. If this is true and I believe it is. How long would it take for you to love your planet, your world?

2. WHEN I THINK OF OUR PLANET I THINK GREEN Many of us smoke cigarettes, eat junk food, get addicted to heinous drugs. Yet we are all expected to get up and do something pro-active about our own lives, like re-cycle, go to the gym, and stop smoking. How are we going to save our planet when we can’t even save our selves?

WHEN I THINK OF OUR RAIN FOREST I THINK IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL Life is a gift take a look at some of the old National Geographic magazines when nature endured because we knew little of the world back then. Animals and plants that are now extinct. It is in us to destroy things but it is also in us to nurture.

4. WHEN I THINK OF OUR DESENDENTS I THINK OF OUR LEGACY Many of us plan to have a family or already have one and yet we still do nothing to provide them with a good environment. It’s a bit like having a gorgeous penthouse suite filling it with rotting rubbish and then leaving it to your beloved with an attached note saying, “It’s all yours dude”

5. WHEN I THINK OF OUR PLANET’S HEALTH I THINK OHHH NOOO There is a sense of apathy amongst us that confirms the fact that we feel powerless. Big food companies keep bringing us genetically modified foods that have nothing to do with our welfare but everything to do with their profits. The legacy that they might leave us with is debilitating health issues and a planet that may never recover from this manmade infestation. BUY ORGANIC OR GROW YOUR OWN

6. HOW CAN WE CARE FOR OUR PLANETS HEALTH WHEN WE ARE RELUCTANT TO CARE FOR OURSELVES Many of us end up acting like the parents we complain about. We view their lives and without even acknowledging the similarities end up making the same mistakes. All kids at the beginning of their lives love and want to emulate the people who look after them. If you do not want to bequeath them your bad habits please change them. Remember you’re being watched and assessed. This test is one you can’t afford to flunk.

7. WHEN I THINK OF OUR FUTURE I THINK IT’S PAPER THIN Many of us have decided to stay single because past exposure to others have left us bruised and insecure. That’s a real shame because it’s this attitude that has us ‘not giving a damn’ about this earth as we figure we’ll not be around when the shit hits the fan. I don’t know if you believe in re-incarnation? If you do come back do you want to be in a world where you might be literally fighting to survive?

8. WHEN I THINK OF OUR ATTITUDE I THINK WE’RE SCREWED In order to succeed at anything you have to have some kind of system in place. You have to care about the little things to make a difference to the big things. It’s funny how we all love a hotel bed, so clean so well made, so luxurious. You could have the same experience in your own home If you cared enough about yourself to make the bed you sleep in every night.

9. WHEN I THINK OF OUR PLANETS NEEDS I THINK IT’S SCREWED So it’s all about us, and the majority of us don’t give a damn because we think it will not affect us. The ash cloud, our seas full of plastic, our land fills full of manmade items that will be here for millions of years. If you’re not you should be concerned and incensed. We give our power away to big business and government and they have been dicking around with our host and us for years.

10. WHEN I THINK OF OUR POLICY I FEAR A QUICK FIX What we need are plans to be made that are not based in greed. We will not get what we need for a brighter future if people continue to place financial growth before all of our needs. Stop commercial flights on Sunday’s it’s been proven that we don’t need them.

11. WHEN I THINK OF OUR OPINIONS ABOUT GREEN FUEL I THINK THERE MAY BE HOPE Groups of scientists and designers have come up with solutions for vehicles that do not have such a negative impact on our planet. These technologies should be put in place and used by all the people we spend our lives looking up to and voting for. If they desire better for us then they should demonstrate better. Employ from the top down the systems we need to make a better world

12. WHEN I THINK OF OUR HISTORY I KNOW WE NEED CHANGE Things are again going to become harder for us. If we all looked back at history we might of avoided this but we choose not to as we all are happy attain free money. Our old systems do not work, financially, emotionally, and physically we need to break the cycle of having it all and not caring about the consequences and then purging and atonement it’s so TIRED.

13. WHEN I THINK ABOUT SOLUTIONS I THINK LONG TERM It’s no good just thinking about your life time you have to think long term. The small things we allow businesses to get away with in the short term are the very things they can change when we are not no longer here. Some businesses go on for hundreds of years so they can play the long game. It’s important we educate ourselves and families so we remember to keep our interests in mind, our health and the planets being the most important.

14. WHEN I THINK OF OUR APATHY I FEEL HELPLESS Yeah I know it seems huge and I sat and wondered how I could help. First start with you, love you, choose good stuff for you. You have no control over other peoples choice all you can do is reach out and try to share your positive solutions for your life. Anybody intelligent will emulate you or find their own. There is no wrong or right way there is only the ‘good conclusion’ that positive action always makes : )

15. BECOME A MENTOR 1ST AND A TEACHER 2ND Nobody loves a ‘know-it-all’ Live your life as an example to others. When somebody encounters somebody who ‘cares’ for themselves. They will question why they don’t care for themselves? It is never your responsibility to make somebody change even the business of saving our planet has to be their choice or they will not stay committed. Live a good life, mentor first and if they are intelligent they will in time understand the lesson.
