The document provides advice that when feeling sad, forgotten, useless, weary, sick, lost, unsafe, threatened, weak, frustrated, humiliated, taken for granted, or without food, money or shelter, one should think of God. God is described as a shelter, source of nourishment, and eternal source of joy and happiness, who feels our feelings and keeps us safe under his wings.
Find comfort in God when facing life's difficulties
1. THINK GOD.
If you feel sad because others forsake you, think GOD.
If you feel forgotten because your children seem not to care, think GOD,
If you seem useless because you're no longer appreciated, think GOD,
If you are weary, sick and lost, think GOD,
If you are unsafe, threatened, and weak, think GOD,
If you don't have a penny, food to eat, nor house to sleep on, think GOD,
If you are frustrated, humiliated, or taken for granted, think GOD.
GOD is ..
our shelter,
our nourishment,
our everlasting source of joy and happiness.
He feels our feelings,
He keeps us under His wings.
