4. Physical Benefits Football is one of the toughest sports in the world, and because of that it calls for a grueling regime to play the sport. The game of football is a constant game of running, tackling and blocking, and because it consist of these components it helps the player increase their strength and their endurance.
5. Physical Benefits cont… Many children face the harm of being obese or overweight Children who play football are less likely to be overweight or obese Playing football can increase the strength of you cardiovascular muscles to help out the function of the heart

Mental Benefits In recent research done by James Pivarnik, president-elect of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and a professor of kinesiology at Michigan State University in East Lansing, states that students who perform aerobic, strength, endurance, and flexibility training perform exceptionally better in academics
7. Mental Benefits cont…… The researchers speculate that the reason for such results is that the kids who are involved in athletics burn off bottled-up energy which allows them to focus on their academics. Football just doesn’t bring out the best in people physically but can help us out mentally
