Kindergarten & Third Grade Buddy Up 2008-2009 Animal Slideshow
Python My animal eats rats and lives in the jungle. Did you know that my animal has a clear scale over it’s eye.  The zoo will need to feed it rats.  My animal need shelter to survive.
Anaconda My anaconda eats pigs and rats.  My animal lives in swamps marshes did you know that my animal is long as bus and  a anaconda can get 300 babies my animal needs food and water.
Electric Eel My animal lives' in the river. My animal’s diet is meat.  An my interesting fact about my animal is that the shock of an electric eel has been known to knock.  a horse off it’s feet.  To protect my animal in the zoo it will need water, food, and a sign for my animal fact’s. My animal will need to provided with water, fish, a giant dome.
Gray wolves My animal eats moose, deer,and hares. My animal lives in North America. Did you know that wolves come in different colors like black, white, and gray .The zoo will need to make my animal healthy and strong. My animal needs food and water.
Koala My animal eats leaves. My animal lives in Australia. An interesting thing about my animal is when she has a baby she or he is in the pouch. If my animal is in the Lehigh Valley zoo it will need a fence around the biggest tree to keep it safe . To keep my animal healthy it will need water, leaves ,and shelter.
Lion My animal eats water buck, zebra and wild beast. A lion lives in open plains.  Did you know that lions can have 14 or15 cubs?  The zoo will need open space, water and food.My animal needs food, other lions and water.
Rabbit My animal eats veggies. My animal lives in a hole dirt outdoor. Did you know my animal has big fluffy ears and a fluffy tail. The Zoo will need to have a home. My animal needs food and water to survive.
Rattlesnake My animal eats lizards, eggs, small mammals. My animal lives in a rain forest. Did you know that my animal can take  one bite to eat an egg. The zoo will need to provide a habitat for the snake. My animal needs love and care an food and water to survive.
Panda My animal eats bamboo. My animal lives den. Did you now that they are extinct. The zoo will need food to care for my animal. My animal needs food to survive.
Snake My animal lives' all around the world! My animal is a carnivore. An interesting fact about my animal is that it has no legs or arms. If my animal is in the Lehigh Valley Zoo it will need a cage. My animal will need water, a cave, a nest, and food.
Squirrel  My animal eats nuts. My animal lives in a tree hole.  Did you know that my animal is a rodent?  The zoo will need to feed it and keep it safe.  My animal needs food, water, and a home to survive.
Horse My animal eats herbs.  My animal lives in fields, farms, and the wild. The zoo will need to  brush it’s hair to care for it. My animal needs food and water to survive.
Chipmunks  My  animal eats nuts  and berries. My animal  lives in  the woods. Did you know that chipmunks are the smallest  member of the squirrel family? The  zoo will  need to feed and  care for my animal. My animal need water , food  and  shelter to survive.
The Great White Shark The Great White Shark lives in South America. It likes to eat cold seal. Did you know that the Great White Shark has over 3,000 teeth? The zoo will need to put the animal in a big pool. They also need to give it food so it doesn't die.
Lion My animal eats meat.  My animal lives in the jungle.  Did you know that the male lion is recognized by its mane’s weight.  The zoo will need to feed the lion to care for it.  My animal will need food, water, and shelter to survive.
Cheetah The cheetah eats hares, impalas calves, and gazelles. Cheetahs live in Asia and Africa. The zoo will need to feed my animal and give it water to care for cheetahs. Cheetahs will a big space with grass to survive.
Asian Elephant My animal eats roots, grass, fruit and bark. My animal lives in the forest. The  elephant sucks water into it’s trunk to drink. The zoo will need to make sure that no one can take them, and feed them healthy foods. My animal needs a forest area to survive.
Chimpanzees My animal lives in the forest. My animal eats bannanas. Chimpanzees live in trees. Chimpanzees are endangered. The zoo will need trees for the chimpanzee to climb in.
Chipmunk My animal eats nuts, pine cones and basically anything. My animal lives in North America. Did you know that my animal is the size of a tea cup. The zoo will need to give shelter and food to help my animal survive.
DEER Deer eat leaves, nuts, and fruits. Deer live all over the world! A cool thing about my animal is deer walk a lot. The zoo will need to keep my animal safe and  give them water. My animal needs  grass  to survive.
Great White Shark My animal eats fish and seals. My animal lives in the ocean. Did you know that the Great White Shark can jump right out of the water? The zoo will need a vet to care for my animal. My animal needs water in a tank to survive.
Killer whale My animal eats fish, squid and  seabirds. My animal lives in  Antarctica.  Did you know that a killer whales size is relative to a bus? The zoo will need to feed killer whales other animals to survive. My animal needs a big fish tank to survive.
Hyena The Hyena eats vegetables and meat. The Hyena lives in Asia and Africa. Did you know that hyenas have teeth that shred through bones? The Zoo will need to collect shelter to care for the Hyena. The Hyena can  eat zoo garbage if  the zoo keeper wants.
Giraffe It lives in the Sarah desert in Africa. It eats leaves. The giraffe is the tallest animal in the world. The zoo will need to feed them leaves from spiky trees.  They also need space for them to run.
Dolphin My animal is the dolphin. My animal eats squid. My animal lives in the ocean. An interesting fact about my animal is it uses its nose for protection. The zoo will need to have water for the dolphin to survive.
King Cobra My animal eats rats, mice, birds, snakes, lizards, and meat. My animal lives under dirt. Did you know that the king cobra is a poisonous snake?  The zoo will need a cage with dirt and 2 or 3 trees.
KOALA BEAR My animal eats  eucalyptus  leaves. My animal lives in trees. When born, it’s the size of a jelly bean. The zoo will need  to give  the koala water and eucalyptus leaves. My animal needs  water and leaves to survive.
Platypus My animal eats shellfish. My animal lives in Australia. Did  you know that the fox eats the platypus? The zoo will need to have digging space to take  care of my animal. My animal needs food and water to survive.
Polar Bear My animal is the Polar Bear. Polar Bears eat meat. They live in the coldest place. They need food! The zoo will need ice and snow for the polar bear to survive.
Siberian Tiger My animal eats meat. My animal lives in cold places. They are the biggest cats. The zoo will need to feed my animal. My animal needs a cold area to survive.
Snow Leopard My animal eats sheep. My animal lives in in the Asian mountains. Did you know Snow Leopards are endangered? The zoo will need  to have lots of room to care for my animal. My animal needs food and water to survive.

Warthog My animal lives in Africa. My animal eats grass. It is cool because it snorts. The zoo will need to have a lot of grass to feed them. The zoo will need a warm area for the warthog to live.
Zebra My animal eats grass. My animal lives in Kenya. Did you know that zebras run fast from lions and cheetahs? The zoo will need to feed them to care for my animal. My animal needs a grass area to survive.
Wood mice   Wood mice eats peanuts ,peaches, peppers. Wood mice live in fields, hedges, and walls. Did you know that wood mice can jump about 5 inches high? Something else about wood mice is they do not like cheese, I was surprised!  The zoo would need small cages and food for the wood mice.
Japanese Chin Dog Japanese chins can live in Japan and all over the U.S.A. They eat dog food and meat. Their  tail  curves up over their backs. They need food, dog toys, an open space to play, and a friend to play with. They also need dog equipment like hoops to jump through.
