2. •objectives:
Show that racism exists in our world
Explain also the most hidden form of racism
documented by historical sources to let weak
to express, that is to give voice to the voiceless
•Methodology: fighting racism through theatre is an effective way because
it makes possible any idea and form of expression, the message can be
varied, and the form can be also varied, from the mute movie to the
explicit one, using a direct language. An example may be the
representation by the hand shadows (which show black on white), this
can send a global message, one cannot exist without the other! Who would
see the shadows without a white sheet? And a white cloth, what would be
without shadows? Shadows play a layman to tell a story of awareness.
3. Content: The idea is to create an
interactive show with small scenes
in which the public can act directly
on the scene and take the place of
an actor. The scenes will focus on
the racial discrimination, the
plaintiff must improvise on
stage, because the public will be
able to go on the stage, to invent
and turn the plot. A scene could
see as protagonist a child who
asks his parent, to invite a foreign
friend at home and checks and
observes the reaction of his
parents. Another scene could be
in the classroom when a new
partner arrive and there is the
difficulty to accept him. The
imagination has no limits you can
invent many scenes in which
characters are, spectators or
actors of discrimination

origins and its evolution and how it changes
over the centuries: from slavery to the present

he did and what he can do to rectify his
mistakes. Are we all human beings in his
lihe? Have we the same rights? All whites and
blacks, yellows, Catholic, Jewish
evangelists, rom ...? Hitting the public about
what happened in the past, pointing out the
mistakes can help to build a better future, a
hope for everyone.
