3. EMILY CARR,
THE LITTLE PINE
The Little Pine by Emily Carr was
completed in 1931. The painting was
done with oil colors on a canvas.
Some elements are smudging. There
is also the blending of colors. I like
this piece of art because it has depth
to it and it is a calm piece. The colors
used are calm colors.
4. EMILY CARR,
LILLOOET INDIAN
VILLAGE
Lillooet Indian Village by Emily Carr
was completed in 1933. It was done
with oil colors. Some elements are
blending of colors. There is also lots
of depth. I like this piece because it
looks and it was based off of a place
that exists. The colors used are calm.
5. LAWREN HARRIS,
PINE TREE AND THE
RED HOUSE
The Pine Tree And The Red House
by Lawren Harris was finished in
1924. It was done with oil colors on a
canvas. There is lots of blending on
the house. Around the house like the
snow is just plain color. I like the
piece because it looks like a nice
winter and a beautiful house. The
colors are bright.
6. LAWREN HARRIS,
CLOUDS LAKE
SUPERIOR
Clouds Lake Superior by Lawren Harris
was finished in 1923. The picture was
done with oil colors on a canvas. Some
elements blending. There is also different
painting techniques. There is also depth
to the painting. I don’t like this picture
because to me it doesn’t look like clouds
by Lake Superior. He used cool colors.
7. MICHAEL TICKNER,
WEEKEND COASTER
Weekend Coaster by Michael Tickner
was painted in 2004. The colors are
solid colors they are not blended. I
like this piece of art because it is
based off of a real place. I also like
the style of art that Michael Tickner
does. It looks like a cartoon to me.
The colors used are very bright.
8. MICHAEL TICKNER,
WINTERS BLUFF
Winters Bluff by Michael Tickner was
painted in 2013. The style of the

like how the colors are solid and bold.
I like Michael Ticker's style. It is
simple but nice. He has used bright
colors.
