Confidence Fitness 2-in-1 Elliptical Trainer with Seat
The Elliptical machine Provides a total body (legs, hips, buttocks, arms & shoulders), low-impact, cardiovascular workout for all family members, regardless of ability level. This unit resembles a walking or jogging machine. Your feet move...

The machine is tilted forward at an uncomfortable position. Other •
reviewers said you could fix this by putting a piece of wood under the front
leg, but I did this and the metal under the back leg cracked.
I've had this machine for about a year and I've only used it about 40 times. I
ordered the elliptical machine, but instead the company sent me the 2 in 1
elliptical machine and bike. By the time I realized this I'd started putting it
together and I decided I liked the 2 in 1 even though it was not what I
ordered so it didn't seem worth the hassle of contacting the company.
The biggest problem with this machine is that it tilts forward to an
unacceptable level. It's like you are riding a bike standing up and tilted 45
degrees forward rather than the horizontal motion you would expect from a
true elliptical machine. But this is because it is essentially pedals attached to
a bike, unlike the more complex machinery in a elliptical machine at the
gym, but that's why they cost $2,000 and this is $120. The electronic timer
is useless and broke in about two weeks.
3. It tilts because the front is about 4 inches too short. I read another •
review that suggested putting a piece of wood under the front, and
this worked and made it more of a horizontal motion. However, I just
realized today that the metal near the back of the center rail has a 6
inch crack in it and is going to snap completely soon. It's because
having the rail resting on a piece of wood in the front puts pressure in
the wrong place on the bike. So it's my fault that the bike is unusable
after about 40 uses, but I just want to warn people who read the same
review I did that you can't actually correct the machine's weird
position
I'm a college student and I'm pretty weak, but I was able to move the
bike easily. It's only 60 lbs and it fit in (my fairly large) car to move
home for the summer. It was compact, fit in the corner of my dorm
room, and has wheels on the front to help move it. It seemed fairly
sturdy (until it cracked of course!) and I'm well under the weight limit,
so it didn't crack just because I was putting too much weight on it. If
you're looking for a cheap sturdy bike and you don't mind exercising at
a weird angle as a trade off, I'd recommend this bike. But overall trying
to get more out of a cheap bike just brought a lot of irritation.
4. Fun way to get fit
Bought the Confidence Fitness Pro 2 in 1 •
Elliptical Trainer & Bike and it is great. Quite
easy to put together and replaces a separate
bike and elliptical trainer so for us it saved
space. Easy and fun to use. Can go from bike
to elliptical very easily without stopping. I use
it while watching tv and it's amazing how
much you can do without noticing !
5. Poor Quality
They are cheap and while they do what they •
are supposed to for a short while, They have a
tendency to break bits regularly. There are no
spare parts available for they machines so if
something brakes you throw it away and buy a
new machine. If your serious spend a few
hundred dollars more and get a quality
machine.
6. Confidence Fitness Pro 2 in 1 Elliptical
Excellent product, is everything as described •
in advert. Gives a good burn. Time consuming
putting together though so allow couple of
hours to put together. Assembly instructions
were not that great either. Overall a great
product that my husband and children all
enjoy using. Would defintly recomend the
product to anyone.
7. Brilliant exercise machine!
I was a little hesitant when I read the negative •
feedback on Ebay for this product. But I
remembered that people are hard to please
sometimes for no good reason! And due to that I
was keen to get this product! I have wanted it for
months. Delivery was very quick and assembly
took me a while but only because I am not of a
technical aptitude haha!
From there I have had the most pleasant exercising
experiences for the last month or so! I would say
buy this A.S.A.P!!!!!!!!!!!! Will do well in winter I'm
sure!

Very happy with this. People have commented on how i'm changing •
shape (to a much sleeker and muscled one). I've only been using it for
about 5 weeks, starting to raise my distance. The computer is very
useful, you can have it cycle through Time, Distance, Speed, Calories
Burned etc, or set it on just one, then look through the results - I clear it
every day, but you could keep a weekly or even lifetime tally. I have very
bad knees and several spinal injuries - if i can get fitter on this, it's
definitely low impact if you take it easy. You could also completely
shatter yourself, the man of the house was very impressed at the full
body workout one can achieve. It's much more sturdy than i expected
for the price, and fairly quiet, but it's not a thousand dollar machine, it
is cheap. However, it's really very good for the price. At first i thought i
needed a strap or non-slip mat for my feet, but have got used to it and
now find i'm very sure-footed on the treads. As others have noted, you
have to change the handlebars (unscrew them) from "ski pole" mode to
"bicycle handlebar" mode. I don't bother, I use the cycle with no hands,
then stand up onto the pedals and use the 'ski poles' for the nordic
skiing part.
