2. There are six different kinds of internships
For a Government, Finance, and Journalism
internship the deadline could be as early as
the Fall (a year previous to when you would
start)
For all others they are most commonly due
between January and April.
3. May need to have completed a certain
amount of credits
Some only take students with a specific kind
of major
Many may need you to have completed
specific classes, such as math or science
classes
These requirements will vary depending on
the internship so they should be looked into.
4. Documents need to apply:
1. Transcripts
2. Letters of Recommendation
3. Resume
4. Cover letter
Also a list of some extra curricular activities and
accomplishments could come in handy
5. You never want to come across as pushy so a
polite follow up a day or two after sending all
your documents would show you are really
interested in the job
This will also insure they received everything
they need
Sometimes the employer could also let you
know when a decision will be made or what
the next step in the process is
