Scientific Drawings: Parts of Plant and Animal Cells
Task: Knowing the parts and functions of plant and animal cells is essential in
being able to understand the fundamental components of living things. Your task
is to sketch (draw) and label all the parts of plant and animal cells. Your drawings
should be neat, well-organized, and clearly labeled. Your drawings must be
sketched by hand. You may use your class notes, textbook, the class website and
other online resources to help you label your sketches. Use the rubric on the
reverse side to see how you will be graded. Materials will be provided to you in
class. Be sure to submit this sheet with your drawing when you turn in the
assignment.
