35% NGOs are registered as Trusts, 48% as societies and 11% as Section
25 companies

50% NGOs do not have 80G and 58% do not have FCRA


75% NGOs apply for less than 10 grants in a year
Implications: Donations
55% NGOs give high priority to raising donations.


59% NGOs have never received any corporate donations.

33% NGOs say that most of their funding is provided by the
founders

72% NGOs don’t receive any funding from Indian Foundations
and 65% don’t receive any funds from International Foundations
