3. Article One
• Read through the article, highlighting things
that you think are important.
• In pairs come up with 10 questions that relate
to the article. They should test whether or
not someone has read and understood the
article. Some can be basic remembering and
understanding questions but others should be
about applying, analysing, synthesizing and
evaluating the article and the issues/points it
makes.

5. Article One
• Swap questions!
• Answer the questions you have been given.
Try not to refer back to the article if the
question is on testing your memory.
• Swap back questions and answers
• Read over the answers, Were they what you
expected, did they get them right?
• Hand in to me!

6. Article Two – Homework!
• Read through the article, highlighting things that
you think are important.
• In pairs are going to share your article with the
rest of the class.
– You need to make a list of the five most important
points you think the article makes (they must be in
your own words!). What evidence from the film would
you used to back up the points made
– Choose three important quotes and explain why you
think they are important
– Discuss whether or not you agree with the article and
explain why. Is there something that you think they
missed or should have thought about. Explain what
