Drawing comparison between you and Noah, and all the other animal in the ark to the people living in corporate jungle. It is a humorous take on a serious topic and intends not to offend any. This chapter is how to deal with the Lion

1. Corporate ARK
Chapter - Lion

2. It has been days and days of continuous water. We have been sailing
endlessly in the ARK, Noah and the animals. The orange was mingling
with the blue. Most of us were in deck witnessing the twilight of early
winter. As the stars appeared all the animals, moved back to their groups
or quarters. The deck is now quite, Noah and me were looking over the
railing into the deep dark sea. There was another outline on the far
deck, an outline of the majestic lion. From this distance and angle can’t
be sure, it is not a lioness, but for ease, let us refer him as lion

3. There he was the majestic lion. The jungle trembles
when he roars. He preys on others. His call silences the
jungles and its inhabitants warn each other of him. Out
of jungle in this ark, has he changed? No, not much, he
is still the same. So, does he deserve the ARK? How
can an Act of Random Kindness be applicable to the
king?

4. Why not? Let us look at him a little
closely. Under his roar and mood
swings, can you not see the
immense pressure to keep the law
and order of the jungle? He has to
roar to keep the list of animals
under control. Won’t the jungle be
run over with wolves and jackals if
there is no lion to keep the in
control?

5. Present at the top of the food chain, well nearly at the
top of the food chain but the king of the jungle and of
our Corporate ARK. Leading the jungle comes to him
naturally, but still I can’t help but notice his almost
vacant eyes. They say it is lonely at the summit; maybe
it is true, maybe not. He deserves the ARK.

6. Important question is how to provide him with an
ARK, who is supposed to be the protector?
Understand him. He needs to be understood. He is
one who faces the heat of so many things, many of
which is unheard to the rest of the jungle. The task
to perform and perform every time, without
exception is not easy. He is friendly to all, but not
all can be his friends. He has the knowledge of
good and the bad that is to happen to everybody
close to him. And he cannot share it. The
knowledge is heavy and is his to carry.

7. Provide him the ARK, of accepting
his weird demands gracefully at
time. Provide him the courtesy of
venting out on you at times and
forgiving, forgetting it forever. Do
not judge him all the time, give him
the window of error, where he can
slip and not perform. More than
anything, place your trust in him, in
his leadership. He needs it more
that he would ever acknowledge.
Even the king needs little Kindness.
