Hypno-teaching ?
 Yustisia

(2012: 75) states that hypno-teaching
is a teaching method, which in delivering
material, teacher uses sub-conscious words
which can grow up interest of students.

 Similar

with Hajar (2012: 75) says hypnoteaching is an art of communication by giving
hypnotic words; yet the teacher does not have
to be a hypnotist.

Findings:


Good teacher-student interaction can motivate students.



Appropriate teaching & learning method can improve
students‟ learning motivation.



People learn L2 (English) because of its benefits.



There is positive correlation between students‟ learning

  • 14. Hypno-teaching ?  Yustisia (2012: 75) states that hypno-teaching is a teaching method, which in delivering material, teacher uses sub-conscious words which can grow up interest of students.  Similar with Hajar (2012: 75) says hypnoteaching is an art of communication by giving hypnotic words; yet the teacher does not have to be a hypnotist.

Review of Previous Related Research Puspitasari, Suranto, Lucas, and Chang & Chang Findings:  Good teacher-student interaction can motivate students.  Appropriate teaching & learning method can improve students‟ learning motivation.  People learn L2 (English) because of its benefits.  There is positive correlation between students‟ learning motivation and learning satisfaction. What has not been found: Application of hypno-teaching method in English classes regarding students‟ learning motivation

  • 19. Basic techniques in hypno-teaching (Yusticia, 2012: 45): 1) Building students‟ self intention 2) Pacing 3) Leading 4) Using positive words 5) Giving praise 6) Modelling
  • 20. Plan of the actions:  Showing good respect to the students  Using positive/motivating language  Establishing classroom behavioural norms  Refreshing the students‟ brain by brain gym  Showing motivational videos  Setting the students‟ personal goals  Employing „signs‟ to control behaviour  Assigning a meeting for meditation session to give the students‟ verbal suggestion.
