Don’t forget PowerPoint – both from a Media Group and from a Presentation
Try as we might, there are often just too many silos of information. While LUNA is search engine optimized (and facilitates discovery for Google and Bing) we also have the architecture to expose your LUNA collections to Institutional Discovery Tools such as Summon and Premis, as well as Soft Chalk). Our next release will include support for OAI-PMH in LUNA to make it even easier for institutions to participate – or contribute – to regional or local efforts as well as WorldCat.org
We are also work with ExLibris’s Primo and towards discovery through SoftChalk
We’re building a “dashboard” like concept and a complete overhaul of the editing tools. There’s no doubt cloud computing has many benefits, the biggest is saving you time and money. We’re updating the Insight components to create all web-based tools which will exist “in the clouds”. No more downloading, no more worrying about updating systems, we’ll take care of everything. Easier to distribute, faster, smarter, easier!
