WorldCat.org? Open WorldCat? What's the difference? These two services make records of library-owned materials in OCLC's WorldCat database available to Web users via a unique destination website and on popular Internet search, bibliographic and bookselling sites. The result: OCLC member libraries are more visible on the Web, and their catalogs are more accessible from the sites where many people start their search for information. Attend this session to learn how your library and your patrons benefit from all of the features of WorldCat on the Web, such as: Personal profiles Lists Ratings & reviews RSS feeds Citation formatting and more! Presented by Christa Burns as the NEBASE Hour for September 3, 2008.
