- I’ve seen 195 movies over these years. In my blog’s “Memories” section, where these movies are listed, each item links to the blog entry of the day I saw the movie, which includes a synopsis of the movie, sometimes its trailer, and my thoughts/observations/impressions about the movie.
- I’ve attended the theater 71 times over these years. In my blog’s “Memories” section, where these theater entries are listed, each item links to the blog entry of the day I saw the work, which often includes a synopsis of the work, often an associated “mindmap” of it if it’s an opera, and often my thoughts/observations/impressions about the work.
- Other things that I learned or that happened over the course of these nine years of blogging:Started with the intention of capturing affirmations. Eventually observed implicit affirmations along with the explicit ones. Was approached on the street by someone who followed the “buscapades” in my blog.Got a comment on a blog entry about a jury I served on 10.5 years ago from one of the victims in the crime that the trial was about.Sometimes I get behind in my entries and have to “reconstruct them.” I did a presentation about how I go about doing that at a SIGDOC Communications Conference in November 2012.
