RESULTS INTRODUCTION The hands are the organ of human body used for physical manipulation of the environment and is thus, our main source of tactile feedback on the surrounding that us around. The problem addressed in this study was the following; is there a relation between hand distention, age, and height. And if it exists, is it an absolutely biological matter? The hypothesis was: Hand distension is an biological cause, as the individual grows, her hands size and the distension of the same increase. ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],DISCUSSION It was prove that hand distension is a biological cause. Pearson coefficient prove that as the individual grow, her hand size and distension of it increase. ABSTRACT The size of the hand has always been associated with some biological effects such as growth or hereditary genes. This study aims to find a relationship beyond that purpose. This study was conducted among 13 females between the ages of 15 to 18 years, from the Hispano-American ethnic group. It was used a ruler to measure the hand distension in which the thumb was placed on the zero, stretching the hand to the maximum of right hand. It was also drove a questionnaire to get the rest of the data, such as age and height. Then it was evaluated in Microsoft offices Excel 2007, in where it was obtained: main, standard deviation and Pearson coefficient from it to analyze the results. The results of this research could test the relationship between the hand distention and biological variables. Through this could show that as the individual grows, her hands size and the distension of it increase. Table 1. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS Juan F.
