Abstract This study attempts to present the variety of possible uses for mobile technologies, and iPads in particular, in the learning process. The objective is to evaluate a unique implementation model that was tried out at a teacher training college. The methodology is based on a qualitative research paradigm. The findings show that students use the iPads in various contexts: (a) for ongoing personal use, (b) for planning lessons, (c) for active integration in the classroom, and (d) for creating and developing content and games. These findings are presented in a chart that shows the different uses as levels in a hierarchical taxonomy.

- ערך מוסף: פתר בעיה של "עודף גירויים" כאשר המיקרוסקופ היה לכל התלמידים על השולחנות. הדגים בצורה טובה ומעניינת את עיקרון ההפרדה ונתן תחושה אותנטית של הגדלת תמונה אמיתית. הסבר תיאורטי אך עם חיבור למציאות ולא רק ע"י תמונות במצגת או החזקת מקרוסקופ שלא כולם יכולים לראות(כיתה של 35 תלמידים)
- ערך מוסף: יצירת עיניין ומוטיבציה אצל תלמידים, חיסכון בזמן(אין צורך בהעתקת מילים, גזירת דפים וכ'), יכולת להתעסק ולנתח את הטקסט ה"מקורי", לסמן בו מילים ולתת משימות נוספות שלא ניתן לתת עם דף (בעקבות הפשטות בהעתקת הטקסט ושכפולו) התלמידים עבדו בקבוצות של 3 תלמידים, כל קבוצה קיבלה משפטים שונים. התלמידים היו צריכים בהתחלה לסדר את המשפטים לפי הסדר הכרונולוגי ההגיוני. לשם כך הם מירקרו ותרגמו מילים שהם לא מכירים(תמונה א'). לאחר מכן גזרו והזיזו משפטים(תמונה ב') ולאחר שאחת הקבוצות סיימה ראשונה הם קיבלו משימה נוספת-להעתיק את כל הפעלים(תמונה ג') הם העתיקו והעבירו לדף חדש ושם עבדו וניתחו את הפעלים.(תרגמו, מרקרו סימנים שמצביעים על זמן וכו')
