1. T his season’s trend is about bringing back the popular styles of the past... but with a
twist, creating the modern designs of today. Back are the bold, geometric shapes
of the ‘60’s and the bright colors of the ‘80’s but with new touches that add softness
and artistic flair. This trend can be seen in Linear furniture with softened edges and
on the new Nissan Cube, which has a boxy design but rounded windows. On the
fashion runway, the look is edgy, but feminine. Bold geometric details and
bright colors are softened with eye catching accessories, and the rocker style is
combined with lace and tassels, adding a hint of glam.
