2. Example: Walking Wizard
A wizard that helps people find a walking
style that suits them
First step in getting them to walk for 30 min
a day
Walking styles could include:
-Listening to music while you walk
-Walking with other people
- Walking while taking phone calls
5. Indirect Questions
People may not know how to answer a
direct question about how they prefer to
walk - since they haven’t though about it
But they do know about their preferences
in general
So ask them an indirect question and infer
how it applies to walking
Try walking
with music
6. Dynamically Updating Badge
As people use the wizard the information
they enter updates as a growing walking
style badge
This motivates them at each question
7. Visual Summary Reward
People get a
tangible, visual reward at
the end
This summarizes all the
information they’ve
provided to the wizard
And it summarizes all the
effort they put in
8. Facebook Connect at a
Motivation Peak
When people get their
badge they are asked to
connect to fb to get more
accurate results
They are high on motivation
when they get their badge
and hungry for more
This makes them more likely
to connect to fb
18. 9. Encourage people to share the benefits of
the wizard, tell them to share to improve the
health of their friends
19. 10. Use FB data to create more relevant
questions, you can add additional question
based on the data from the fb connect
20. Use this code!
