PREFACE
This book is designed to help the primary
school pupils those in the Year 1, 2, and 3
who like to learn on how to operate the
computers that had been taught throughout
the schools.
On behalf of that, this book had been
produced to help the teachers and pupils in
teaching and learning the computers.
By using the simple language and attractive
illustrations hopefully it may help the pupils
to learn interestingly.

Windows Programme
Windows is operating system software which had been
used to runs the basic system of computers.
According to a research more than 95 % of the
personal computer (PC) in this world used the Windows
operating system.
It is easier to use Windows than other operating
system software. By using the system we do not have
to type the instructions but just click the mouse onto
the icons. The icons will represent the programmers,
folders and files.

Follow the instructions to open the
Windows Programmer:-
i) Switch on the AVR
ii) Switch on the CPU.
iii) Switch on the monitor.
iv) Wait until the Windows desktop displayed.
v) Click the start and the
programme menu.
vi) List of programmers will display.
vii) Click the chosen programme.

Switch on the AVR.
Click (X CLOSE) to exit the programme.
Choose and click the programmer icon.
Click TURN OFF to the computer and
off the electric supply.
Switch on the CPU and wait for the
desktop to display.

the OK button.

1. Click the File menu and choose Save As.
2. The Save As box will appear.
3. Click My Document.
4. Type a name at the File Name.
5. The click the Save button.
6. File will be keeping in My Document
in the C: (hard disk).
Rearrange the steps to Save Document.
