• The IPRA of 1997: Free and Prior Informed Consent
from IPs under the supervision of the National
Commission for Indigenous Peoples is required for any
project within ancestral lands or domains, plus
compensation.
• The operating members of the Chamber of Mines in
2010 have paid close to P200 M in royalties to IPs.

and livestock;
• enrolled in the Indigenous
