2. Background Colour Like the front cover I have compared the different background colours. I have decided to use the same colour as the front cover to keep the theme the same and constant throughout. Also like the front cover I think that the colour black is a good colour as it makes the other colours im planning to use (the colours of the logo) stand out fronm the page.

3. Masthead Font Again like the front cover I have decided to use the fourth font down. I think this font is appropriate as it is sketchy and runs in with the school magazine theme. I wanted to use the same font for the masthead because I wanted the same font for the titles to be the same throughout.

4. Main Picture Just like the front cover I have used the same colour blue as in the logo as I didn’t want the colours to be random.

5. Main Picture For the main picture on the page I decided to use a long shot image. This is the full length of someone.

6. Picture I chose This is the picture I chose to use. As I said earlier I have blacked out the background in black. I think this looks better than the original image as it makes the main person in the image stand out and when you look at the masthead this also stands out.

7. Magazine Layout This is the layout of my contents page. I chose to split the contents up into sections. For the headers (“results and Exams” and “School Updates”) I used the same font as the masthead and decided to use the colour yellow to keep with the theme and the colours from the logo. To make sure the titles to the pages stand out I used the colour blue so that people don’t get confused between them.

8. Other Features I decided to add a banner of pictures on the page that relate to other features on the magazine. Also in the right corner there is a tag with name of the magazine. I thought this would be a good feature to add to the page. On this it would also have the page number.
