2. Economic Gardening : an entrepreneurial approach to growing jobs from within the community by creating a systematic, nurturing environment for local entrepreneurs to prosper and grow. Economic Gardening (EG) integrates within a community’s overall economic development program landscape and complements the creation of jobs through traditional means. Specifically Economic Gardening is a coordinated process with identified support partners and systems that provide tangible assistance to existing small businesses to help them grow, adding jobs in the community.
