TED2011 starts with a touch of Amsterdam Search

Next week the large annual TED conference will kick off. Creative production studio +1
Amsterdam created a beautiful trailer for the succesful second TEDxAmsterdam edition
last November. Chris Anderson (the international TED curator) was so impressed by this Social Networks
video, +1 is now also producing the TED trailer.

Each locally organized TED event (therefore Join our Facebook group
labeled TEDx) creates its own specific tone
of voice and atmosphere within the TEDxAms on YouTube
possibilities given by TED. Many TEDx-
organizers have produced a trailer for their
event to preview the amazing amount of Talks2010 are Online

Marcel Vrieswijk (managing director +1): “We are deeply honored not only TEDxAmsterdam

beautiful for their ‘flagship conference’. It’s always great to hear people appreciate your work,
especially if it’s someone like Chris Anderson!”. The American founders are always up to date on
the Dutch TEDx-activities and both teams are frequently in touch with one another. As Chris
wrote in his briefing for the trailer: “Give us a sense of wonder! It’s clear you know how to do
that!!”
Ideas Worth Doing
The organization behind TEDxAmsterdam intertwines creative people and wants to be more than
a platform individuals choose to devote their energy to. Jim Stolze (president TEDxAmsterdam
Foundation): “This is a fantastic opportunity for +1. As a local TEDx organization we are
unbelievably proud when our speakers or creative partners get a breakthrough on the
international forefront. We like to think TEDxAmsterdam is a starting point for all kinds of Dutch
talents.” On the 2nd of March everyone is invited to watch the free TED livestream in the
