Tips on "gustar" and "ser"

1. ¡Vamos a practicar! You are going to describe the following people: yourself (yo), your favorite teacher (él/ella), you and your best friend (nosotros/as), your parents or grandparents (ellos) AND You will TELL a friend what you think of them (tú). For each person or persons you must include the following information: Age, physical description, personality, things they like and don’t like, and activities they like to do and WHY .

2. Where do you start? Subject Pronouns – Pick a box! Ellos/ellas/Uds. Or more than 1 person, a group or plural item Él/ella/Ud. Or 1 person, group or thing Vosotros/as Tú Nosotros/as Yo

3. Then decide - do you use “ser” or “gustar” *****“Ser” is used to DESCRIBE**** Use a form of “ser” to talk about what people ARE LIKE , where they are from, their personality… “ Gustar” is used to talk about what things you or others LIKE and what activities you LIKE to do!
