 ISJ is the most important employer in the area
 ISJ coordinates the national exams both for students and
for teachers: baccalaureate, national evaluation for
secondary education, olympiads, didactic degrees for
teachers
 ISJ acts as an interface between local communities and
schools
 ISJ puts into practice the Ministry of Education’s policy
 ISJ supervises the didactic activity, educational
