It consists of drawing a grid on the sidewalk or on the
ground with a piece of chalk and then you jump or
hop from one end of the grid to the other.
How to Play Rayuela
There can be any number of players, and a stone is the only object you
need to play it.
You throw the stone inside square one. After that, you have to hop into
each square, starting with square 1 and ending in square ten.
If there are two squares together, you jump landing with one foot in
each square; but if there is only one square, you must hop on one foot.
When you reach square 10, you have to turn back jumping
again until square 1. Then you continue playing the next level.
This time you begin by throwing the stone into square number
2. In the next level, you throw it into square number 3. You
continue until level 10.
The first player who does all the levels is the winner. The most
important thing is that the player has to skip the square where
the stone is.
Special Rules of the Game
If one of the following things happens, the player has to stop
and another player takes a turn.
The player can't put his/her foot or feet on the lines of the square.
The player can't jump with two feet in squares 1, 2, 3, 6 and 9.
The player can't fall down.
Torito en alto (little bull on top) is a game that consists
of playing tag with the variation that in order to avoid
being tagged you can get into anything height and
that way you are safe.
How to Play Torito en Alto
Decide who is "it": this person will be the one who
chases the others. Many of the players will get a turn
at being "it".
Choose the boundaries for the game. This will ensure
that the game doesn't extend into unwanted areas. If
a player crosses the boundaries, he or she is
automatically "it.
Tag another player. The "it" player must aim to touch
another player. Once the "it" player succeeds in doing
this, the player who has been tagged is now "it".
Continue with the new "it" player trying to tag
someone new to be "it".
Equipment: A handkerchief.
 How to Play the handkerchief
Two teams with an equal number of
players stand one in front of each
other, along each line in the borders.
Each player of each team has a
number from 1 to the number of
players in the team. The leader
places him/herself between the two
groups. The leader holds a
handkerchief in his hand.
The game start when the leader says a number from one to any
number (the maximum is the number of total players in a
team).The person of each team who has that number runs and try
to catch the handkerchief. There are three possibilities:
One person grabs the handkerchief and returns to his/her line
without being touched by the other person. In this case, the
person who didn't touch the other is out.
One person grabs the handkerchief and starts to run to his/her
line but the other player touch him/her before arriving to
his/her line. In this case, the touched player is out.
One person crosses the central line but the leader continues to
have the handkerchief. In this case, the person who crossed the
central line is out. (To achieve eliminate the other, players
usually feign to hold the handkerchief without doing and start to
run to their line).
If a team lose a player, another player takes his/her
number. So, after the first situation there is a person
in one of the teams with two numbers.
The game finishes when all the players of one team
are out.

  • 9. Tag another player. The "it" player must aim to touch another player. Once the "it" player succeeds in doing this, the player who has been tagged is now "it". Continue with the new "it" player trying to tag someone new to be "it".
  • 10. Equipment: A handkerchief. How to Play the handkerchief Two teams with an equal number of players stand one in front of each other, along each line in the borders. Each player of each team has a number from 1 to the number of players in the team. The leader places him/herself between the two groups. The leader holds a handkerchief in his hand.
  • 11. The game start when the leader says a number from one to any number (the maximum is the number of total players in a team).The person of each team who has that number runs and try to catch the handkerchief. There are three possibilities: One person grabs the handkerchief and returns to his/her line without being touched by the other person. In this case, the person who didn't touch the other is out.
  • 12. One person grabs the handkerchief and starts to run to his/her line but the other player touch him/her before arriving to his/her line. In this case, the touched player is out. One person crosses the central line but the leader continues to have the handkerchief. In this case, the person who crossed the central line is out. (To achieve eliminate the other, players usually feign to hold the handkerchief without doing and start to run to their line).
  • 13. If a team lose a player, another player takes his/her number. So, after the first situation there is a person in one of the teams with two numbers. The game finishes when all the players of one team are out.
