Algarve Associate & Senior Adviser
Took over leadership of joint project with Associação Turismo Algarve towards evaluating the impact of the
Meeting Industry sector in the Algarve. Also structured and lead a market driven intelligence survey for the
Portuguese residential tourism sector.
As part of my business development responsabilities, participated in the product mix definition for a newly
planned resort in Alvor, launched a Fractional Ownership Think Tank and published several articles in
Portuguese press media.
Villas & Vacations (Almancil) June 2007 – November 2008
Rentals and property manager
As rental manager, repositioned the pricing portfolio and implemented aggressive procedures for property
take-on. Inverted a four years lasting downward trend, achieving a 16% increase in turnover and 17%
increase in days sold comparing with 2007.
Successfully launched the fitness and club house activities, including the setting up of infrastructures,
landscaping and trainers hiring.
Create synergies with the rental operations, as well as implemented other added value services.

Liberty Seguros:
Acting as Engagement Manager, was responsible for the delivery of the highest priority functionalities
through collaboration with the product owner and the delivery team.
The project’s objective was to migrate all business support systems to a web-based platform to reduce costs,
and speed time to market delivery time of new financial products.

Van Ameyde Corporation (Netherlands):
Acting as chief analyst, managed the team responsible for the functional analysis of a European claims
handling system for the Van Ameyde insurance group based in Holland. The analysis team was comprised
of client’s resources form the Italian, Dutch and French network.
The implementation of this claims handling portal, and its implications on the overall processes redesign,
represented enormous savings due to the standardization of all business and financial IT support systems
throughout every European branches. The financial integration was achieved through SAP technology.
Pernod Ricard (Paris / Lisbon):
European wide project to implement a new business model, supported on Sales Force Automation
technology to optimize distribution and sales force operations. This Project involved the Dutch, English,
Portuguese, Switzerland and German subsidiaries.
Responsible for business requirements analysis, functionalities design, development and testing of a Core
Model CRM solution during the first phase of the project. Later on, was responsible for the local
implementation, sales force training, follow-up and reporting to Paris headquarters.
Santander Consumer:
Responsible for the reviewing and redesigning of the Early and Late Collections processes; The opportunity
arose while there was an ongoing effort of consolidation of operations with recently acquired Interbanco
Bank.
Achieved higher levels of productivity, while optimizing work force allocation, without any significant
investment in technology and without a 3 month period.

Project Manager for International Missions
Assigned with the Management of all International missions: (Lear Corporation & Caixa Geral Depósitos in
France; Banco Fimestic in Madrid).
Supported the implementation of strategic missions for top corporations in the Portuguese service sector
(Banco Cetelem, Renault, Saint Gobain,), and within other sectors in the industry (Lusosider, Sommer
Allibert, Pinto Bastos).

Managed and participated in an organizational and Information Systems restructuring project with A.T.
Kearney in the benefit of all Caixa Geral Depósitos branches, where several change programs were
identified and scheduled for implementation.

Business Process & Development Manager
Responsible for internal efficiency programs involving organizational and people development.
Successfully planned, managed and executed several consulting engagements for a variety of clients,
mostly with the top five banking and insurance companies in the country (Bonança, Ocidental, Império,
Credibanco, Seguros e Pensões) and within other sectors (Entreposto Comercial, Soporcel.).
Redesigned the Auto bodily damage claims process for the Bonança insurance company, implementing a
