2. Audience feedback is key
for creating a film or a
marketing campaign.
When creating a film
audience feedback allows
an idea to be pitched and
then responses can be
given from the audience
you are trying to appeal
to, this lets film makers
know what they shouldn’t
include, what they should
include and overall how
they can improve their
ideas to better cater to
their target audiences
needs.
3. Once we had decide on the
audience we were going to create
a film for we carried out
questionnaires in order to here our
audience what there favourite
genres were, the male/ female
ratio of our audience etc.
Here are the charts of the
responses we got from our
questionaires.
4. One of the first things we did
during the production of our film
was create a pitch, we came up
with our idea and pitched it to an
audience of 15-18 year olds (our
target audience) during this we
took questions fr4om the audience
were they were able to voice their
opinions on our film idea. This
really helped us as it showed us
what the audience thought was
good and possibly most
importantly, what wasn’t liked
meaning we were able to make
changes and move forward from
there.
6. With the Feedback we had been
given we went out to film our
trailer and create the rest of our
campaign. With the content we
had we asked our target audience
to inspect what we had so far, they
once again were able to say what
they liked and disliked, such as, the
speed of our trailer, the size or
colours of our fonts. This allowed
us to make the necessary changes
to our campaign in order for it to
appeal to the most members of
our target audience
7. Overall the effect that audience
feedback had on our project was
crucial, if not for the responses we
got then we would have easily
been able to create a film that
would not have interested our
audience, through talking to our
target audience we were able to
decipher what the audience
wanted and how we could make a
film to appeal to that audience.
