Dr. Deborah (Deb) Lavin Colky was a pioneer in online
training and a consultant to global corporations on
human performance issues.
Additionally, Deb was a professor, as well as, the
creator and director of the Training and Development
Program at Roosevelt University.
Sadly, Deb passed away on Jan. 22, 2007. In honor of
her spirit and legacy, the Dr. Deborah Colky
Workplace Learning & Performance Student Award
was created.
Each year 1 student enrolled in a degree program in
the Chicagoland area who shows great potential in
the Workplace Learning & Performance field receives
a $1000 cash award, a 1 year membership to
CCASTD, a commemorative plaque, and the
