Prime 15.2 allows you to enter risk information without assigning a risk matrix. This allows you to create risks and

Modify Assigned Risk Matrix Data
Prime 15.2 enables you to update risk matrix data after it has been assigned to risks. Probability, schedule, and cost
thresholds make up a risk matrix; the matrix assigned to a project determines the scores and impacts for its risks.
After data is updated, risk scores and impacts are updated accordingly.
To access this feature:
Change the assigned risk scoring matrix on the Risk Register page. Click Risks on the Project menu, then Register.
To edit risk matrices and thresholds, click Configure, Data on the Workspace menu.

Prime 15.2 allows you to add columns and Gantt chart bars to the Activities page for risk analysis outputs. View

Click the Settings button at the top of the Activities page. Use the Columns tab or Bars tab to add risk analysis
outputs to the page.

Criticality Index
A new calculation -- Criticality Index -- is calculated automatically during the risk analysis. It shows the percentage of
iterations an activity was on the critical path during the analysis. Use this new risk output to evaluate the likelihood of
an activity being critical and analyze the most important activities from the analysis.

Filter Items in the Tornado Chart
The tornado chart in Prime 15.2 includes a filter for sensitivity value. Risks that do not meet the defined sensitivity

Settings for Holiday on Non-Work Day
Move a repeating holiday -- to closest workday, forward, or backward -- if it falls on a non-work day in the future.
For example, New Years Day could be on a Saturday for a calendar that has non-work time on the weekends.

Use the Cost Sheet to view budget information from one or more budget sources. Budget sources are selected when
creating the Cost Breakdown Structure or modified on the cost sheet itself.
In Prime 15.2 there are two budget sources available:
Manual budget: Based on budget line items entered on the Budget page
Scope-based budget: Based on scope item assignments.
Click on values in the cost sheet to view and analyze the budget data.

Cost Categories
Cost categories are added in Prime 15.2 to allow users to further break down costs by CBS codes, providing more
information on costs and areas that may have overages. Cost categories can be added based on four category types:
labor, materials, equipment, and other. When adding budget line items, use cost categories to calculate costs based on
rate, quantity and hours. Use the cost sheet to view costs based on cost categories.
To access this feature:
Create Cost Categories: On the Workspace menu, select Configure, Data and then select Cost Categories
Assign Cost Categories: On the Project menu, select Cost then select Budget.
View costs by cost categories: On the Project menu, select Cost, Cost Sheet. Select the By Cost Categories
tab.

BI Publisher Layouts
Integration with BI Publisher has been enhanced to allow users to create BI Publisher layouts from within Prime. A
new Layouts detail window has been added to create layouts for the selected report. When adding or editing a layout,
BI Publisher is launched with all the features for configuring a layout. When reports are scheduled to run, a layout can
be selected for the output format.
To access this feature:
On the Workspace or Project menu, select Reports. Select a report and click the Layouts detail window.

Report Enhancements
In Prime 15.2, reports has been updated with the following enhancements:
Baseline Reporting: In previous versions, only a few baseline fields were available for reporting. Now any
field baseline field can be selected in reports. This includes all subject areas except capital plans, capital plan
types, and time-phased reports. Use the Settings tab to select if the baseline field will be from the current or
original baseline.
XML Report Output Format: Reports can now be generated or exported using XML format. This allows
XML files to be imported into other custom reporting applications that support XML data models.
Report Codes: Codes can now be created and assigned to reports to help organize and group reports on the
Reports page.
Additional Subject Areas: In the report editor new subject areas have been added for Resource Assignments,
Risk Response Plans, and Work Packages.
Expanded Historical Reporting: In previous versions, historical reporting was available for only few subject
areas. This has been expanded to be available in all main subject areas.
Advanced Reports Renamed: Advanced Reports is renamed to Custom Reports for BI Publisher reports.

Reporting cycles and periods have been added allowing project managers to accurately plan and report progress for
projects in required time intervals. Reporting periods are established for each project and could be in increments of
daily, weekly, semi-monthly or monthly depending on duration of project. Reporting periods are different from fiscal
periods as fiscal periods are a part of the accounting process. Reporting cycles for reporting periods are more granular
than fiscal periods. In this release reporting periods are used for scope management.
To access this feature:

Configuration Menu Enhancements
The Configuration menu is renamed Configure and has more comprehensive list data elements to configure:
General: Contains the option for setting the workspace to use Capital Plans.
Data: Contains all the data elements configurable in previously in the Configuration menu. Fields has been
removed (see Objects). Cost Categories and Reporting Cycles have been added.
Objects: Instead of navigating into a single page dedicated to configuring fields and then choosing the object
for which these fields should be defined, navigate to a particular object, and then choose the Configured
Fields tab where fields can be configured. Other items specific to that object can be configured, too.
User Groups: In previous versions this was named Security Groups. Configure groups of users to have a
default set of permissions.
Permissions: In previous versions this was named Security Profiles. Configure sets of permissions for
different areas of the application (Global, Workspace, Project, Capital Plan, Report, Document).

Map Viewer Enhancements
In Prime 15.2 the map viewer has been enhanced to navigate to projects using pins on the map. The project map
viewer has been removed from the Details menu and replaced with a map widget to be placed on dashboards,
allowing you to see all your projects on a map for the entire workspace.

Select Data, then Dashboards.

Field Enhancements
In Prime 15.2 three new field data types are added:
Boolean: Check/uncheck a box to create yes/no or true/false functionality without having to create a text field
to enter a value or create a code with the two values.
List: Create user-defined field that can be used to select from a list of values. This is similar to codes except
it's a flat list and can be translated to other languages.
Date: This field replaces the Start Date and Finish Date fields combining them into just one date field.
To access this feature:
On the Workspace menu, select Configure and Objects.
Select an Object and click the Configured Fields tab.
Click in the Data Type field to view the new data types.

In Prime 15.2 locations are enhanced to add locations for projects and resources at the object level, with the option to

Field Relabeling and Localization Enhancements
In Prime 15.2, localization and customization of column labels for standard and configured fields can be directly
updated in the application without using an .XLIFF file. Customizing labels directly gives you the flexibility to update
them as needed per workspace. (Labels can still be updated using the .XLIFF file, affecting labels throughout the
entire application.)

On the Workspace menu, select Configure, select Objects. Then select either the Standard Fields or Configured Fields

Dashboard Enhancements
In Prime 15.2, dashboards are available at the workspace and project level. They replace the Overview pages in
previous versions and are the default landing pages for workspaces and projects. An Overview dashboard, included by
default, contains the same tile information that was presented on the Overview pages in previous versions.
Dashboards are more customizable as they include more than 25 different widgets for the workspace and/or project:
Overview: General information about the workspace or project such as name, ID and description.
Chart: Selected chart configured at the workspace level.
Gantt: Displays projects within the workspace on a Gantt chart based on project start and finish dates.
Map Viewer: Shows the project or all the projects within the workspace on a global map based on location
with map pin(s) showing selected information about the project.
Photo: Displays a selected picture (GIF, JPG, or PNG formats) no larger than 2MB.
Direct Child Workspaces: Lists all child workspaces of the current workspace.
Reports: Displays number of reports available in the workspace or project.
Projects: Displays number of projects available in the workspace.
Capital Plans: Displays number of capital plans available in the workspace.
Resources: Displays number of resources available in the workspace.
Roles: Displays number roles available in the workspace.

In Prime 15.2 the Update Progress page (in previous versions called Status Updates) has been updated with a host new
functionality to improve productivity and usability for team members. The new enhancements include:
Update Progress Page Grid View: The Update Progress page has been updated with a Grid view allowing
team members view additional task information in column format . Show and hide columns, rearrange
columns, and sort tasks by any column.
View and Edit Codes and User-Defined Fields in Project Tasks: At the project level on the Settings page,
configure up to 20 activity codes and fields to be viewed and/or updated by the team member.
Advanced Project Task Filtering: Filtering options have been updated to include the ability to filter the task
list on a particular WBS and on a custom time frame using any two dates.
View Documents associated with Project Tasks: Preview or download documents associated with a task.
Update Project Task Progress for Other Resources: Team members can be enabled to update the progress
of other resource assignments on an activity.

Prime Mobile 15.2 allows you to annotate photos to provide details about real-world progress, changes, notes, etc.
To access this feature:
Tap the Photo icon for an activity or scope assignment. Take a photo or add an existing one, then tap Draw to
annotate the photo.
