This document summarizes the James Tippit Middle School Campus STaR Chart for the 2007-2008 school year. The STaR Chart is a self-assessment tool used by Texas schools to track their progress in key technology areas defined by the Texas Long Range Plan for Technology and federal NCLB requirements. The chart shows Tippit Middle School was developing in teaching and learning and educator preparation, but advanced in leadership and infrastructure, with goals to reach the highest target level. Suggested improvements include increasing technology integration, resources, and staff training to further support students and teachers.
