2. WHAT YOU WILL NEED…
Template or drawing to trace
Wax paper
Meringue powder—this is what I used for the cake
shown.
Confectioner’s sugar
Gel icing color
Piping bag―You can use a piping bag with a metal
tip, parchment cone, or as you will see in the video I
am using plastic treat bags. Often I use sandwich
bags.
Toothpicks
3. HOW TO…
Place wax paper over your drawing.
Mix the icing to a consistency that will flow without
moving outside the lines while spreading to a
smooth surface.
Trace around the outlines and let set for a minute or
so.
Fill in the areas inside the outlines using more
pressure to dispense more icing.
Use a toothpick to spread the icing.
