What’s the most
important room
in our church?

The Nursery!

That’s right, the Nursery! A key element of our vision is to reach
families in the Holland area with the gospel and a well rounded
balance of opportunities for spiritual growth. Studies show that
parents make their decision to stay at a church because of the quality
of preaching, friendliness, and most importantly — the Nursery!

November 10, 2013
10:45 a.m.
Dr. Rob Renberg, Pastor
All in the Family #6
“Resolving Conflict”
Ephesians 4:25-32

Our Nursery is central to our mission.
If you have a heart for sharing the love of Jesus with the “littlest of
these,” then we want you to be a part of our Nursery ministry!
Please consider helping during one of our regular services.
You can expect to serve once about every 2-3 months.

If you want to become a part of this special ministry that
really makes a difference, then fill out this reply today!
(You don’t have to do anything to remain on the
Nursery Rotation.)

Dessert & Discussion with the Pastor
Join Pastor Rob Renberg on Sunday, December 1 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. for an
informative time of learning about Parkside Bible Church. Pastor Rob will be
sharing the core values and mission-driven focus that provide the foundation
for our ministry. This “Dessert & Discussion” provides a place to connect with
others on your spiritual journey and it will show you how to make a difference
and enjoy the community that comes through journeying together here at
Parkside.
Here’s an opportunity to begin finding your way in the life of our church and to
catch a glimpse of Parkside’s vision to impact people for Jesus Christ as we
serve our community, encouraging personal spiritual growth in an atmosphere
of grace, forgiveness and acceptance.
We will be looking at our mission and vision and the biblical convictions that
define us and make Parkside the special place that it is! This class is also a
prerequisite for membership, but many participate as an information gathering
starting point as well. Nursery will be provided if needed. Please RSVP with the
tear off slip below so that we know how many people to plan for.
P.S. You don’t have to become a member if you attend this class! If you just
want to know more about Parkside Bible Church, feel free to be a part of this
informative time of fellowship and learning! RSVP and just come!
P.S.S. If you have already attended a Pastor’s Class in the past, you have
fulfilled the “meeting” requirement for membership and don’t have to
attend again (unless you’d like a great dessert!). Check the box below.

FAMILY MOVIE FUN NIGHT!

CRAFT FAIR HELP NEEDED WITH…..

Next Sunday, November 17
6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

ADVERTISING: Pick up a flyer or some small
brochures from the Welcome Center to hand out
to friends and family or to post at work or in
businesses that you frequent. Facebook, Twitter
or email your friends about the show!

(Hosted by the Sr. High Youth Group)

We’ll be showing:
“Symphony” (I Lift My Hands) with Louie Giglio
It’s staggering when we begin to realize that all creation is singing the
praises of the One who fashioned and formed the Universe. Yet,
singing stars and earth’s ovation cannot drown God’s desire to hear
your voice. In the midst of a miraculous and immense symphony of
praise, God is still mindful of you, going to extraordinary lengths to give
you life and breath through His Son.

Dr. Seuss’s film “Horton Hears A Who”
Horton, an elephant with sensitive hearing, comes to the rescue of
the microscopic “Who’s” who live in a world so small that it fits
in a speck of dust.

CRAFT FAIR HELPERS: Help with setup/take
down, carrying in items for the vendors,
directing vendors on parking, counting
customers at the door, greeting customers and handing out brochures.
ATTEND: Plan to attend and support the 70 vendors that will be here.
Invite your friends to attend with you. Buy something from the Bake Sale
or Luncheon to support youth outreach.
This is a great community event with over 1500 attending last year and
the same or more expected this year!

Questions or to volunteer...talk to Judy Timmer or Jane Tiffany.

Popcorn & Drinks will be provided.

The Parkside Runners/Walkers are now meeting
downtown Holland in front of the Knickerbocker Theater
on 8th Street at 6:00 p.m. every Tuesday. Join them as
they run downtown and keep your running going all
winter! When the snow comes, they will run the
snow-melt system on 8th Street and enjoy some warmth
at JP’s coffee after the run/walk. Questions... Contact
Tony Van Houten at 616-218-0205.

The Holland Sentinel is donating Sunday newspapers to the
church in support of youth outreach. If you would like to
support this cause by making a donation for the paper, the
newspaper rack is located in the front entranceway.
Thank you!

Bringing your “gift” pre-plated will lessen our sale day preparation.
Please mark your item as far as what it is and if there are ingredients in it
that might cause an allergic reaction (i.e nuts.) You do not need to price it.
The following is suggested: 6 or 12 rolls per plate; 6 or 12 cookies per plate;
1 large piece of pie or cake per plate; one large brownie per plate or
4-6 per plate; 4-6 pieces of fudge or candy per plate, and 4-6 cupcakes
per plate. Whole pies, cakes, and breads would also go over great as
the sale is just before Thanksgiving.
Items can be dropped off at the church on Friday, Nov. 22, from 8:00 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m. or 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. or on Saturday, November 23, from
7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
For more information, please see Judy Timmer or call her at

  • 1. What’s the most important room in our church? The Nursery! That’s right, the Nursery! A key element of our vision is to reach families in the Holland area with the gospel and a well rounded balance of opportunities for spiritual growth. Studies show that parents make their decision to stay at a church because of the quality of preaching, friendliness, and most importantly — the Nursery! November 10, 2013 10:45 a.m. Dr. Rob Renberg, Pastor All in the Family #6 “Resolving Conflict” Ephesians 4:25-32 Our Nursery is central to our mission. If you have a heart for sharing the love of Jesus with the “littlest of these,” then we want you to be a part of our Nursery ministry! Please consider helping during one of our regular services. You can expect to serve once about every 2-3 months. If you want to become a part of this special ministry that really makes a difference, then fill out this reply today! (You don’t have to do anything to remain on the Nursery Rotation.) 14461 James Street, Holland, MI 49424 616-399-4410 parksidebible@sbcglobal.net (e-mail) www.parksidebiblechurch.com (website) Our Mission: Learning from God’s Word… Growing in God’s Grace…Reaching with God’s Love! • 5. FAMILY MOVIE FUN NIGHT! CRAFT FAIR HELP NEEDED WITH….. Next Sunday, November 17 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. ADVERTISING: Pick up a flyer or some small brochures from the Welcome Center to hand out to friends and family or to post at work or in businesses that you frequent. Facebook, Twitter or email your friends about the show! (Hosted by the Sr. High Youth Group) We’ll be showing: “Symphony” (I Lift My Hands) with Louie Giglio It’s staggering when we begin to realize that all creation is singing the praises of the One who fashioned and formed the Universe. Yet, singing stars and earth’s ovation cannot drown God’s desire to hear your voice. In the midst of a miraculous and immense symphony of praise, God is still mindful of you, going to extraordinary lengths to give you life and breath through His Son. Dr. Seuss’s film “Horton Hears A Who” Horton, an elephant with sensitive hearing, comes to the rescue of the microscopic “Who’s” who live in a world so small that it fits in a speck of dust. CRAFT FAIR HELPERS: Help with setup/take down, carrying in items for the vendors, directing vendors on parking, counting customers at the door, greeting customers and handing out brochures. ATTEND: Plan to attend and support the 70 vendors that will be here. Invite your friends to attend with you. Buy something from the Bake Sale or Luncheon to support youth outreach. This is a great community event with over 1500 attending last year and the same or more expected this year! Questions or to volunteer...talk to Judy Timmer or Jane Tiffany. Popcorn & Drinks will be provided. The Parkside Runners/Walkers are now meeting downtown Holland in front of the Knickerbocker Theater on 8th Street at 6:00 p.m. every Tuesday. Join them as they run downtown and keep your running going all winter! When the snow comes, they will run the snow-melt system on 8th Street and enjoy some warmth at JP’s coffee after the run/walk. Questions... Contact Tony Van Houten at 616-218-0205. The Holland Sentinel is donating Sunday newspapers to the church in support of youth outreach.
