2. TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION
•The rapid and constant pace of change in
technology is creating both opportunities and
challenges for schools.
•The opportunities include greater access to rich,
multimedia content, the increasing use of online
coursetaking to offer classes not otherwise
available, the widespread availability of mobile
computing devices that can access the Internet,
the expanding role of social networking tools for
learning and professional development, and the
growing interest in the power of digital games for
more personalized learning.

3. •Technology gives students immediate
access to an abundance of quality
information which leads to learning at
much quicker rates than before.
•They can communicate with others
across the world in an instant, meet the
shortcomings of their work, refine it and
provide their students with the best.
•It gives students the chance to interact
with their classmates more by
encouraging collaboration.

4. •Technology in education everyday helps
students stay engaged. Today’s students
love technology so they are sure to be
interested in learning if they can use the
tools they love.
•Students become more responsible.
Technology helps students take more
control over their own learning. They learn
how to make their own decisions and
actually think for themselves.
•It help to prepare students for their
future careers, which will inevitably
include the use of wireless technology.

5. • We are going to engage our students in
the class discussions and the lectures, we
need to be doing this engagement with the
technologies they are familiar with.
• In the past, learning and education
simply meant face-to-face lectures,
reading books or printed handouts, taking
notes and completing assignments
generally in the form of answering
questions or writing essays. In short;
education, learning and teaching were
considered impossible without a teacher,
books and chalkboards.

6. •Students engaged lifelong learning
requires new approaches to
education that incorporate
technologies increasingly a part of
students’ everyday lives.
• It engages and challenges students
with brand new and interactive
methods.
•Students can work and collaborate
with people in other locations.
Distance learners can join online
communities.

7. •With technology, the classroom is a
happier place. Students are excited about
being able to use technology and therefore
are more apt to learn.
•With technology in the classroom the
teacher becomes the encourager, adviser,
and coach.
•Student can have access to digital
textbooks that are constantly updated and
often more vivid, helpful, creative, and a lot
cheaper than those old heavy books.
