Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Feed the Children is a Christian-run nonprofit spearheading relief efforts worldwide. Feed the Children's relief efforts include deliveries of food, clothing, medicine, and additional aid for persons in need and their families. Feed the Children helps people from areas afflicted by natural disasters, war, famine, and poverty.

2. Following the receipt of my Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine from Ohio University's College of
Osteopathic Medicine, I completed a transitional
internship, an obstetrics and gynecology residency,
and an advanced microsurgical course at Naval
Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia. Founded in
1827, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth is the oldest
naval hospital that has run continuously since
inception. Comprising approximately 4,300 officers,
sailors, and civilians, Naval Medical Center
Portsmouth provides healthcare services to hundreds
of thousands of active duty members and retirees in
the Hampton Roads area.

4. During my time as a student at Naval Medical
Center Portsmouth, I participated in a
transitional internship in the Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology. OB/GYN interns
at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth spend
four months assisting in ambulatory care, one
month in geriatrics, five months in obstetrics
and gynecology, and one month each in
emergency medicine, intensive care unit,
orthopedics, and neonatal intensive care unit.

5. While participating in the Obstetrics and Gynecology
residency program at Naval Medical Center
Portsmouth, I attended academic lectures on topics
such as oncology, urogynecology, reproductive
endocrinology, and maternal fetal medicine, among
many others. Upon finishing my residency, I spent a
few years serving in the United States Navy. In the
first year after my residency, I became an Attending
OB/GYN and Department Chair of Obstetrics and
Gynecology for the United States Navy in Keflavik,
Iceland. Subsequently, I spent two years as an
Attending OB/GYN in Bremerton, Washington.
